"Josh worked as an MD on our Year 13 Acting show of ‘Nell Gwynn’. As an acting director with very little musical experience myself, he showed incredible patience, planning, determination and professionalism. The cast were made up of actors who had varying degrees of musical and vocal experience (from nothing to extensive experience) and he worked hard with them to get them to understand the complexities of the songs in the show, be that the numerous harmonies, singing in French or marrying the singing alongside their movement/character work. He took solo responsibility for scoring the music and reworking sections to ensure it worked for the actors and how we had blocked scenes/choreography. I cannot praise him enough for the hard work, commitment, talent and professionalism he has shown throughout the process and am excited to see what he does next."
About
I regularly work as both a musical director and a conductor. Fortunately, I've had the opportunity to take part in a number of exciting music and theatre projects, both in person and digitally, over the past 12 months. These include conducting the North Wales Clarinet Choir, receiving conducting tuition from Gwyn L Williams (with Ensemble Cymru), leading the Bangor University Music Society Orchestra, and music directing and producing the brand new musical Where The Bees Fly for its first public performances in Spring 2022 with Work In Progress Theatre.

My previous credits include music directing (and producing) High School Musical with RicNic Burton, overseeing the music direction and production of the international online showcase Underrated! Virtual Cabarets, directing, producing, and editing the RicNic Burton 2020 virtual cabaret, music directing a production of Nell Gwynn, and rehearsing a 16-piece band as assistant musical director for a production of We Will Rock You, among other theatre credits as a pit band member
